All food contact material export to Italy should comply with EU Regulation (EC)No.1935/2004 and Italy Official Gazette GU 283 on April 1962, Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973. Stainless steel and other metal products, Glasses, ceramic are highly concerned by Italy government.

From 2005， EU issued a new Regulation for food contact material: 1935/2004/EC（Regulation NO. 1935/2004/EC of The European Parliament And Of The Council Of 27 October 2004). The regulated put into use from 27/10/2006.
