REACH refers to EC NO. 1907/2006, Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. REACH is a mandatory law to precautionarily control chemicals that may enter into EU market.  Since the establishment of REACH by EU in 2007, SVHC list keeps on updating. By far, ECHA has published six batches of SVHCs candidate list, involving 84 substances. On18 Oct, 2012, ECHA launched a public consultation on thirteen potential Substances of Very High Concern, once the seventh batch of SVHCs is adopted ,the substances on the candidate list would increase to 138.
