In August 2017, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 8 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, all are originated from China.
The subjects notified are mainly formaldehyde migration from plastic articles, overall migration and heavy metals migration from steels, and mineral oil in papers . The details are as below:
