In February 2017, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 7 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, 5 cases of which are originated from China.
The subject notified are mainly heavy metals migration from stainless steel, overall migration and formaldehyde migration from plastic articles. The details are as below:
