In November 2016, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 16 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, 12 cases of which are originated from China.
The subject notified are mainly heavy metals migration and overall migration from stainless steel, formaldehyde, melamine and PAA migration from plastic articles. The details are as below:
