In Oct. 2016, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 11 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, 10 cases of which are originated from China.
The subject notified are mainly formaldehyde migration from melamine articles, heavy metals migration and overall migration from stainless steel. The details are as below:
