    In April 2015, all 132 cases were notified by EU RAPEX system, the products of 94 cases within it were from China, 71% of total numbers of the notification. Toy, jewelry, garment/textile, kitchen/cooking equipment etc. are the major type of products.

    In April 2015, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 22 cases of FCM ( Food Contact Materials ) products. 86%(19 cases) of FCM products notified are originated from China. STQ suggests manufacturers pay high attention on it.

    The Standardization Administration of China (SAC) notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of proposed revisions to its toy safety standard (GB 6675). GB 6675 is proposed to be split into four separate standards and below is an overview of major changes in chemical requirements.
